ASIAN ACADEMY OF CRANIOMANDIBULAR DISORDERS 17TH CONGRESS

The Asian Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders (AACMD) 17th Congress, JAKARTA

The 17th AACMD congress was held in Indonesia on 21-22 October 2017 at Luwansa Hotel, Jakarta.  Prof Frank Lobbezoo from Amsterdam, the Netherlands was the keynote speaker on the topic of BRUXISM and SLEEP APNEA.  The event was attended by key members of the OPAP and several delegates who graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila College of Dentistry Temporomandibular and Orofacial Pain Program (UP TOPP).

One of the highlights of the Congress was the OROFACIAL PAIN DIAGNOSTIC REASONING session led by Professor Koichi Wajima from Tokyo, Japan and his team. This workshop was attended by the sole representative of the Philippines, Dr Corinne Somera-Atienza.
